Blue Bird has come a long way since its inception, almost two decades ago. The company began as a dream of a young entrepreneur , who inspite of limited resources worked towards a vision to make BlueBird a pioneer in the express distribution industry in India .

BLUE BIRD HISTORY
Bluebird Services Pvt. Ltd. was incorporated in 1988 and started its operations in the cities of Delhi and Mumbai. However within a few months , we quickly added other metros to our network. Bombay was opened first, in January 1988 and Chennai and Calcutta followed soon after in quick succession. From being a purely express operator, Blue Bird was diversifying into cargo carriers. At the end of the first year, the company had a network of 7 stations . Expansion, in terms of stations in the network, people and revenues, grew rapidly over the next few years .

BLUE BIRD -TODAY
Today, Bluebird courier is one of the pioneers in the courier industry promoted by a team of highly talented proffessional who value the need of a customers requirement .

Over the years, we have expanded our operations and moved into such specialized areas as Express Air Cargo, Express Surface Cargo, Express Transportation and Vehicle Delivery through logistics, warehousing and other related services. We are fully aware that businesses today must continue to deliver superior standard and services in order to stay ahead of competition. To help you achieve this goal, we at BLUE BIRD EXPRESS have improvised our scale of operations, infrastructure and service delivery

Today, we are serving 856 stations through our network of 450 franchisees and associates all over India. We have an extensive franchisee network that enables us to operate efficiently both at local as well as national levels. On the international front, we have a tie-up with a leading US-based international courier company with one of the largest networks that covers 8500 locations in 229 countries. Every time a shipment moves, its physical status is known by a complex GLOBAL TRACKING SYSTEM
